Why this site and why now?

This site is designed to help you — in order to help them live. There is a growing grassroots movement in Georgia seeking to reestablish the sanctity of each and every human life from conception to old age. Join together with men, women, and children from every walk of life and every denomination of the Christian faith in this mighty work of God's people to protect the lives of those little ones who are utterly unable to protect themselves. Help your fellow Georgia citizens end this terrible holocaust of human life. Now is the time, as the momentum and the voices of concerned Georgians rise, for you to become part of something significant in the history of our land. As never before since the Roe v. Wade decision, we have within our grasp the instrument which will turn the tide — Georgia's Human Life Amendment.

We believe that our voices do matter and that if enough of us speak out, our Georgia lawmakers will see to it that the Human Life Amendment is placed on the ballot for the November 2008 elections. Polls show that at least 57% of Georgians favor a constitutional protection for unborn children. The crucial battle to see the Human Life Amendment become part of our constitution is taking place right now and right up to the opening of the 1st session of the 2008 legislature. If we succeed with our elected officials between now and January, then we will win in November at the polls. It's that simple!

December 24 – The past few days have been spent reflecting on the birth of our Savior. What an aprepo subject with the battle for life in our midst. Mary was a young mother, maybe 12 or 13 years old, and pregnant without a husband. What tremendous faith she must have had to trust that God was going to take care of her even as Joseph planned to quietly break their engagement.

God incarnate was born in Bethlehem, not in a palace or even a home, but in a barn. It is beyond my comprehension how God became man, and how Jesus obeyed His Heavenly Father, believing Himself to be fully God, yet submitting fully to the work and suffering that was His to bear. Jesus obeyed when obedience was simply not logical as man understands it.

Today, the prolife movement has sought small victories believing the full victory over death is not logically possible. As we celebrate the dawn of a New Year, it is time to cast aside old methods and old ideologies in this battle over abortion; to stop discussing the balance of the Supreme Court and the likelihood of a pro-life President. It is our duty to obey our Heavenly Father. We must take an unwavering stand against abortion right where we are today.

Our family wishes you a restful Christmas vacation. Our prayer is that we will bring in the New Year with new determination and vigor in ending abortion in Georgia in 2008.

May God bless you and bring our Georgia peace,

Jon, Jenny,

December 21 – This week Tom Murphy died, and is now being celebrated for his twenty-eight-year reign as Speaker of the Georgia House. Journalists have hailed him the most powerful legislator in Georgia history. Their assessment is probably not far from the truth, although his legacy as Georgia's most powerful legislative leader bears closer scrutiny.

While we certainly sympathize with the Murphy family's sorrow, it must also be said that under Speaker Murphy's reign, abortion ran rampant in Atlanta. He adamantly refused any attempts to regulate or restrict abortionists in the city. His reign oversaw the murder of over one million Georgia children, the vast majority of whom were black. Interestingly enough, he was also adamantly opposed to the Equal Rights Amendment of the 1970s.

For decades, Atlanta abortion clinics have operated with waivers that nullify state and federal standards for medical facilities. Many of the clinics do not accurately report abortion numbers, and do not have the necessary ambulatory surgical license. Georgia has the oldest gestational age in the country for abortion on demand. Thanks to twenty-eight years of a man who guarded the free reign of abortionists in largely black neighborhoods, hundreds of thousands of black children are missing from Georgia.

Only 14% of Georgians are black women, yet they have over 60% of the abortions. The founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger declared, "We must never let it get out that we are trying to
exterminate the blacks."

With the death of Speaker Murphy, let us pray for the death of tyranny in our state. The right to life is not granted by civil government and cannot be taken away by the civil government. May we
pray that our current Speaker of the House respects life, and uses his power wisely and in the defense of the right to life. If not, that God would remove him from office.

For the Death of Tyranny and the Victory of Life in '08,
Jenny

December 18 – The prolife movement in America celebrates 35 years of failure on Jan. 22, 2008. Even though a lot of powerful politicians, judges and organizations claim to hate abortion and believe it to be murder, at present 4,000 children die every single day in the United States.

Our foreign policy declares we are making the world safe for democracy, but when are we going to make our own country safe for democracy.? What if Saddam had invaded our country and removed our government because our government sanctions the slaughter of 4,000 American children every day? Would we be outraged by that? Or would we finally realize our own hypocrisy?

We seem to believe that if we elect the right President, the right Congress or the Supreme Court is correctly positioned, abortion will end. Psalm 33:16-17 "The king is not saved by a mighty army; A warrior is not delivered by great strength. A horse is a false hope for victory; Nor does it deliver anyone by its great strength."

Let's stop celebrating failure and stop talking about limiting abortion. Let's make 2008 the year Americans made America safe for our people regardless of race, age or state of dependency. Let's stand together against half measures and lip service and declare that abortion must stop now. 2 Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, who are called by My name humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS, then I will hear from heaven, will
forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

For The Unborn Children,
Jenny

December 17 – On Friday afternoon I met with Cathy, Director of Bound4Life Atlanta, at the Capitol and we plotted the prayer walk route that will be done following the Jan. 14th rally. As we walked in the city we talked about our hopes and prayers concerning ending abortion in Georgia.

Saturday morning Margarita and I were out in front of the Atlanta Women's Medical Center on W. Wieuca Rd sidewalk counseling. It was awful standing on the sidewalk so far from the building watching a packed parking lot and girls being escorted in and out of the abortion mill. One man parked near us with three small children in the back seat. His wife got out and made her way alone, shivering in the cold, to the front door. We cried out earnestly asking her to talk with us, but she didn't speak English and only shook her head. Another couple stopped and talked with us. They were college kids and didn't feel like they could afford a baby. I earnestly told them I could help and would take the baby. They thanked us and took down my phone number. They said that they were not going to abort the baby, and would call me. Another woman drove away, but paused and rolled
down her window to talk with us. She had three children and felt she couldn't afford another. She said that she had already had the abortion and was going to get a tubal. She had clearly been crying. She also said that she didn't know there was help available for her so she could keep her baby.

A church stood directly across the street, and church goers walked rapidly past the abortion mill on the opposite side of the street. They had no interest in talking with us, and simply pulled their coats more closely and increased their step.

It was a cold, cloudy Saturday. At least 50 babies died gruesome deaths, and the only people there in respect for their lives were two women calling out from the sidewalk, hoping for someone to listen.

Are you ready to do something about abortion in Georgia? You can act today! Contact your legislators, plan on attending the rally on Jan. 14th, pray earnestly for the end of abortion in Georgia, and spread the news about our Human Life Amendment. And this coming Saturday, if you want to personally save a life, join us on the sidewalk of an abortion clinic in Atlanta.

December 10 – Does everyone you know, know about Georgia's Human Life Amendment? HR 536 will not pass the House without grassroots activism. There are plenty of pro-life Georgians to bring about the swift passage of this bill. But the question is do they all know and will they act?

Here's an easy way for you to act. In the House, Speaker Pro Tem Mark Burkhalter has a birthday on Dec. 12th. We want to inundate him with birthday cards stressing HR 536. As Speaker Pro Tem, Mr. Burkhalter represents all of Georgia rather than just his district 50. Here's his address:

Mark Burkhalter
9800 Medlock Bridge Rd.
Suite 3,
Duluth, Ga. 30097
Ph # 770-418-9098

Let's make Mr. Burkhalter's birthday unforgettable this year!

PS Now more than ever, we need your financial support to carry this fight for life all the way to the general election in November 2008. Support Pro-Life Unity today!

December 5 – Since I started on this journey back in May of this year to uncover the truth about abortion in Georgia, the information has become dry and repetitive to my mind. Yet, every time I'm in conversation with someone new, and start ticking off the facts, they are dumbfounded and shocked. 60% of babies aborted in Georgia are African American. For every 3 black babies in the womb, 2 will be aborted. The black community is not replacing itself, but steadily declining in numbers, not only in Georgia but all over the country. Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood, had the goal of eradicating the black community from the United States. 4,000 babies of every color die daily in our country. Over 600 babies die weekly in Atlanta.

Today I write to encourage all of you that we must not grow weary in the message. Abortion is the hidden holocaust, and it's stain resides quietly everywhere. Most health insurance programs cover abortion. Many organizations, like American Girl and Komen (breast cancer awareness) give money to Planned Parenthood. Our makeups and lotions for staying young are the products of research on aborted baby parts and tissue. In our state most clinics do not follow state and federal regulations for a medical facility. They conduct business without ambulatory surgical licenses, proper records keeping, concealing abortion numbers, and performing unlawful late term abortions.

The Woman's Right to Know Law has been quietly swept under the rug by having mothers sign waivers before the "procedure." We have had employees ask sidewalk counselors for a copy of the Woman's Right to Know book recently, because they've never even seen it! We have the oldest gestational age in the country for on demand abortion, 26 weeks, 6 days. Every Saturday morning, hundreds of girls and women line up at clinics all over Atlanta for abortions, and we don't realize it is happening. Many of these mothers profess Christ, but they can't bear the thought of letting mama and daddy know they're pregnant.

You may think that you won't be affected by abortion, and your children would never get an abortion, but you are deceiving yourself. Consider that of the 16 year old girls today, half will have had an abortion by the time they are 45. Did you know that every year for the past 3 years, there has been a bill in committee in the House of Representatives to outlaw abortion? Even now, there are pro-family organizations within Georgia who are distancing themselves from HR 536 because they believe it is too radical.

The Human Life Amendment re-establishes the right that the false interpretation of law by the Supreme Court has ripped from our people: the right to life. I firmly believe that Georgians who are educated on this hidden holocaust will rise in one accord for the defense of all innocent life, because God is opening our eyes. Join us on Monday, Jan. 14th, 2008 and bring your children. That day will live in our hearts and minds as the beginning of a new era in our state. Georgia will finally become the state that stands for life!

For Victory over Death, Jenny

Georgia's Human
Life Amendment

(currently known as HR536):

Paramount right to life. (a) The rights of every person shall be recognized, among which in the first place is the inviolable right of every innocent human being to life. The right to life is the paramount and most fundamental right of a person.(b) With respect to the fundamental and inalienable rights of all persons guaranteed in this Constitution, the word 'person' applies to all human beings, irrespective of age, race, sex, health, function, or condition of dependency, including unborn children at every state of their biological development, including fertilization.
